The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
